Position Description:
The Colorado Springs Philharmonic seeks an experienced fundraising professional
to work closely with the Executive Director and Board of Directors. This
position is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic arts organization and
the only professional orchestra in Southern Colorado. The successful candidate
will possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit, excellent written and oral
communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with performing arts organizations, the Colorado Springs community
and the Colorado philanthropic community a plus.
Position Requirements:
This position requires experience in grant/proposal writing, planning and
executing donor cultivation strategies, organizing special events, overseeing
volunteers, maintenance of donor database, preparation of annual fundraising
appeal and a desire to work in a solid team environment as well as a passion and
commitment for the arts, including attendance at concerts on weekends.
Position Compensation:
This is a full-time salaried position. Salary commensurate with experience. The
