Standards for Excellence
The Center for Nonprofit Excellence is now accepting
scholarship applications for the Standards for Excellence intensive clinic
series in early 2008. There is currently one 16-hour clinic series scheduled
for 2008 and there are limited scholarships for applicants.
The cost for the series is $450 for CNE members and $600 for
nonmembers. Clinic series registration includes two seats for each
organization. We encourage organizations to send their CEO/Executive Director
and Board Chair/ Chair elect for this program, but we welcome any employees. The dates for the
next clinic series are as follows:
Clinic Series 4:
October 3
October 17
October 31
November 14
Scholarship applications will be available soon.
Community Leadership Fund sponsored scholarships:
- The Community Leadership Fund has generously provided
partial scholarships for organizations at each
clinic series.
- The scholarships will provide $350 toward the total
registration fee.
- Representatives attending clinic series must be
CEO/Executive Director, and Board Chair or Board Chair-elect.
- Applicant organization must be located in El Paso, Teller,
Elbert, Kit Carson, Lincoln or Pueblo counties.

Gay & Lesbian Fund for Colorado sponsored scholarships:
- The Gay & Lesbian Fund for Colorado has generously
provided partial scholarships for organizations at
each clinic series.
- The scholarships will provide $350 toward the total

Elbert, Kit Carson, Lincoln or Pueblo counties.
