Silver Key Senior Services Resource Development Director
Position Description: Responsible for directing activities related to the analysis, planning, execution, control and evaluation of fund development and selected public relations programs. Works with and through the President & CEO and the Board of Directors for all fund development programs including public relations activities designed to enhance and support the overall mission of Silver Key. Programs are conducted under the auspices of the Fund Development Committee in concert with the events committee, agency administration, the Board and employees. Responsible for innovation, process improvement and efficiency, quality, excellence, customer service (internal and external) and culture as related to the Resource Development function; responsible for planning and programming, scheduling and establishing internal controls necessary to implement and coordinate: planned giving, all associated grant processes and activities (to include budget development for proposals), web site development and oversight, special projects and events, fundraising campaign programs and initiatives; coordinates public relations activities (to include management of media/press); responsible for data collection and analysis as related to outcomes reporting for resource development programs, responsible for staff supervision.
Education: College Graduate.
Experience/Qualifications: •Five-plus years of Fund Development experience. •Excellent creative resource development acumen. •Office and Computer skills, especially fund development database software •Non-profit management experience •Staff Supervision experience •Fiscal Management experience •Demonstrates responsiveness and sensitivity to cultural differences. •Ability to relate the Silver Key identity to staff and community. •Excellent written and verbal skills and the ability to relate to others with sensitivity and diplomacy. •Ability to build effective collaborations among diverse individuals and organizations to benefit clients and donors. •Ability to work as a team member to achieve goals. •Strong conflict resolution skills. •Strong customer service skills. •Ability to make accurate assessments, identifies problems, and develops effective solutions. •Attention to detail and timely documentation. •Ability to complete tasks and projects in a timely manner. •Willingness to work within established agency and regulatory parameters. •High sense of ethical responsibility. •Excellent interpersonal and human relations skills. •Technical Requirement: Must be able to acquire and maintain a Colorado Driver’s License; Knowledge of GiftWorks © Software is desirable. •Ability to be objective and empathetic.
